Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing Kathie Heap, owner of EnergiZe ~ Personal and Corporate Transformation.
In this interview Kathie talked about her business, the clients she works with, and how intuition plays a part in her work. Below is a rundown of the interview
Kathie’s business as a Massage Practitioner and Wellness Coach has been evolving over the last 3 years. In a nutshell, she offers tools for self-awareness, self-nurturing, and self-healing utilizing the following modalities: Cranial Sacral, BARS (Access Consciousness), Reflexology, Lymphatic Massage, Somatic Respiratory Integration, Sound Vibration Healing, Reflex Integration with Cold Laser Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy for Wellness, Energy Healing and Chakra Alignment, Meditation Coach, and Wellness Coaching. Her primary clients are referrals from practitioners in the complementary and alternative medicine arena as well as people she knows and word of mouth referrals. Kathie has over 20 years of high-tech and entrepreneurial experience. She now finds it’s “more rewarding to help individuals and companies approach life with tools that will truly enrich their experiences and bring harmony to all facets of their life.”
Kathie utilizes intuition in her daily life and, therefore, finds it natural to bring into her business. Kathie provided this example of how she brings intuition in her work. “I find my hands move to areas that need focused attention whether it’s energy or massage touch.“ When working with clients she focuses on holding “sacred space” and calls on her personal intuition and training to guide her in offering her clients what they need most in the present moment.
Attending the Academy of Intuition Medicine® in Sausalito, California is one of the ways Kathie fosters her own intuitive abilities. She finds that connecting with nature and the earth, in particular gardening, helps to support her intuition. Meditation is a way Kathie has learned to “clear my busy mind to allow me to see, feel, and sense things more clearly.”
Here is a take-home recommendation to help you gain more access into your intuitive abilities that Kathie offers readers. Go outside and get your feet on grass, dirt, or sand and BREATHE. Really breathe! Breathe in the beautiful gifts the earth has to offer and exhale anything that does not serve you in the present moment. Kathie also recommends journaling as a way to bring more awareness into your life. For instance, she suggests writing about situations, people, and circumstances you find helpful in creating a sense of peace and wellbeing in your body, as well as those that bring you off center.
A last comment from Kathie: “Become self-aware of your own healing abilities and gain new tools to live a full life in the present moment. The journey is yours.”
