Positive affirmations can be powerful for the health of your body, mind and spirit. Research shows that self-affirmations can help you choose healthier options as well as assist you in problem-solving when under stress. Positive affirmations are a way to help train your thought patterns to aid your entire energetic system to resonate at a more balanced frequency. They help you feel more optimistic, which in turn can help you build a more loving environment for your body, mind and spirit.
Below are 21 affirmations to help you balance your body, mind and spirit for health and wellness. I encourage you to try the affirmations, as they’re a great way to help you bring in a new way of thinking. Even little changes can make a significant difference. They can be amazingly empowering.
For each affirmation, say it out loud or quietly in your mind at least three times, one or more times a day. Some people find it powerful to write out the affirmations on a piece of paper or to speak them in front of a mirror. I invite you to include the word “choose” for some or all of the affirmations, as it can help you to really own and claim the declaration. Find which method(s) works best for you and go with it.
For all of the affirmations, I encourage you to see which ones resonate most for you and which ones are challenging to say and believe. Rearrange the words so that they work for you. In your journal, write down what you notice in your body when an affirmation feels true for you and what happens when an affirmation doesn’t feel true for you. There’s a lot of information that you can glean from this practice. Oftentimes the affirmations that are hard for us are the ones we need to say.
